I know a lot of people hate the whole thing with Peter's parents being spies in this universe and how it's because of Peter's blood that he could get the Spider powers, but I really love it.for this version of Spider-Man. It's amazing what these previous 5 movies have given us. This movie's plot may be as convoluted or dumb as Spider-Man 3's with so many plot lines, but I love what it gave us and I think it set more of a template for Tom's Spider-Man than Tobey's did, though you can also clearly see what they got from Tobey in Tom's Spider-Man. I know people don't like aspects of all of the Spider-Man movies (as in Tobey, Andrew and Tom) but god damn I don't hate any of it. But I dunno, maybe in the following weeks with the rest of the in-reviews, I'll have Tom back at first sharing with Andrew.Īnyway, as for these movies, I god damn love both of them. I used to think I had Andrew and Tom tied for first, with Tobey behind in third (and I say third, not second, because the existence of the Raimi/Tobey stans makes me put Tobey's Spider-Man down. I'm honestly really glad that the guys love this movie so much, and watching this in-review reminds me why I love it so much, to this point where I think watching this in-review has made me realise that Andrew truly is my favourite Spider-Man.
