Showcase your designs – The fact that the design is fully 3D also means that there are fewer steps required to show the completed designs.See your project in all conditions – Using simulation tools within BIM you can visualise such things as the sunlight during different seasons or to quantify the calculation of building energy performance.Avoid rework – there’s less need for rework and duplication of drawings for the different requirements of building disciplines when you can all work from one model.Bring information together – compile information from a range of sources into one shared model, something that is not achievable on paper.Maintain control – The digital workflow utilises functionality like autosave and connections to project history so that users can be certain they’ve captured their time spent working on the model.

To obtain Active BIM objects, you must contact us for a quote or technical submittal and request the Active BIM objects relating to those selections. To book a presentation at your office, please contact Neil Hudson on 0116 2498 007. This presentation lasts for approximately 35-45 minutes. We currently provide a H & V News Awards shortlisted presentation which demonstrates the creation of Active BIM objects and how they can be best utilised within a BIM model. This can then be inserted into your Revit model saving both time and effort when aiming to be BIM level 2 compliant. SPC have taken their building information modelling (BIM) objects a stage further by linking them to product selection programs which give project level data within the objects.
